It's difficult to prevent animosity when disrespective idiotic issues like this is allowed to happen:
Malaysia magazine sorry for communion-spitting offence
A Malaysian Muslim magazine has apologised after two of its journalists pretended to be Roman Catholics and took Holy Communion in a church.
Some comments:
"The government's top lawyer, Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail, said the pair had not understood the significance of the wafer."
a) How can they be 'journalists' when they are THAT "ignorant"? It's like having to report about dolphins and thinking they are fish. Don't they do any research prior to the assignment? This is such an insult to the journalistic community.
"The actions of the two reporters may have hurt the feelings of the people but I was satisfied that they did not intend to offend anyone. It was an act of sheer ignorance."
b) Why did they receive the communion anyway? One can go "undercover" to church and not forced to receive the Holy Communion. Oh yea, wait..."IGNORANCE". I guess you can get off any misdeeds nowadays by pleading "non-intentional" and "ignorance".
"The journalists said they had found no evidence of the illegal conversion of Muslims."
c) DUH.
Honestly, can these people be any more stupid?
